TERMS OF ADMISSION - COMPETITION OPEN

No age limit!
The competition is open for all nationalities!
No tapes or videos required!
Application deadline: 25 May 2017


The 2017 competition is open to all classical guitarists, irrespective of nationality and of any age, who are not represented by an artists agency (impresario).

First Round:
08. June 2017, 11.00 
Free choice piece (s): 12 minutes, not shorter than 10 minutes.
Final Round:

11. June 2017, 
14.00
Free choice piece (s): 20 minutes, not shorter than 18 minutes.


After the final round, prizes will be awarded tor candidate who have a distinctive artistic personality, show charisma and great stage presence and who are able to bring out the poetic value, virtuosity and technical prowess of a varied repertoire.
The instrument used must be a classical guitar (six strings or more).
The program is free choice and must comprise pieces from the classical guitar solo repertoire or transcriptions and may include unpublished pieces.
To enter the competition, the candidate has to send the completed application form.
Deadline : the complete application form must have been received by the organizers of the competition no later than 25 May 2017.
The application form can be obtained via the electronic form.

20.00 announcement of the finalists (if the competitors are more then the time allowed, the competition first round will continue on Friday 10 June from 09.30, announcement of the finalists will be at 16.00 the same day. )

21.00 announcement of winners - awards ceremony

The order of the candidate will be selected on the alphabetic order of surnames.
The candidate may choose in which order his pieces are played.
All pieces must be played from memory.
The pieces played in the first round can not be repeated in the final round.
All the finalists are obliged to be present for the announcement of the results and the prize giving ceremony on Sunday 11 June
​or they will forfeit their prize.

    The 2017 Junior competition  (born after 01. June 1999) is open to all classical guitarists, irrespective of nationality, who are not represented by an artists agency (impresario).
    The Junior Competition required one round only Free choice piece (s): 12 minutes, not shorter than 10 minutes.

    The instrument used must be a classical guitar (six strings or more).
    The program is free choice piece (s): 12 minutes, not shorter than 10 minutes. and must comprise one or several pieces from the classical guitar solo repertoire or transcriptions and may include unpublished pieces.
    To enter the competition, the candidate has to send the completed application form.
